Im reading you guys talking about hard/soft shift tunes. My tuner only shows me a 91-93 perf tune, a lower octane perf tune, and a tow tune. Are there other tunes offered by livernois that are available by request only?
Not sure about Dakota Hill but the state of Colorado operates a fairly comprehensive map of all types of trails. The ones that officially close due to snow are usually marked with the closure dates.

Im kicking myself now. I should have posted on this site. I ripped my stock drop in out last year and had it in storage. Then when I moved recently I just took it to the dump. I really dont like the way drop ins rub against the paint and hold moisture/grime underneath them. And it also was a...
I switched over to Livernois recently and love it so far. I dont have any of the issues I was having with my other tune. One thing that does bother me with the Livernois performance tune is unless im babying the truck, for the first few shifts it feels like the shifting makes the truck "lunge"...
I just moved to Lakewood. I can say that with a mostly stock fx4 there's not much chance of making it up any 4x4 trails right now with the snow. But, there are miles and miles of snowpacked roads in the national forests that are still lots of fun this time of year. Check out the national forest...

I will ship it on the same day as long as it's within...
I haven't found anyone that has removed them on the forums but it's been since I started this thread that I've researched it. At some point when/if I decide that I can justify a rail mounted rack system project I'm planning on drilling through my rail caps down through the bed and then removing...
I took mine in a few weeks ago on this TSB. I've told them several times in the past that the first shift on a cold start when leaving my house (road is uphill and this is required to reproduce), the transmission will wait until 3500+ rpms to shift and when it does shift it is a heck of a jolt...
I took my inter-cooler off yesterday and a slight amount of water and oily residue came out. It was mostly clear, not dirty looking like i've seen in other photos online. I decided to put the weep hole in it and see how it reacts going forward. I figure I can always just plug it back up if I...
How'd it go for you?
I just did mine yesterday and as I mentioned in another thread, the primary reason I could not get my axle to pop back into the joint was that the boot had an air tight seal so when the axle was pulled out of the joint and extended away, it created a vacuum effect in the...
Update....It would seem that I'm in the clear now. No damage to the CV joints as far as I can tell. In my case I figured out that the primary reason I could not get my axle to pop back into the joint was that the boot had an air tight seal so when the axle was pulled out of the joint and...
Kicking myself so hard for not doing my research on this first. Both of mine popped out during install and I cannot get the drivers side back in to save my life. Got a friend coming over later to assist but im worried that I will have damaged them the way that OP did. Im primarily frustrated...
Any chance you could give us a photo of where you drilled it? I looked at the link you are talking about but it doesn't have any details.

The F150 instructions i've found online all involve drilling a 1/16 hole into the plastic piece at...
I will pile onto this issue. I've been having this issue intermittently since I bought the truck in early/mid 2019. It happened a few times before I started to pay attention to it seriously. So far this year it's happened 3 times.
The first occurrence was during a road trip to Daytona FL from...
Just run 93 octane. After 2-3 tanks of having only 93 in the tank you will notice it has more "get-up-and-go". Once I started running 93 consistently I never went back.
I'm not a CO native (currently) but recently drove my truck out from the east coast. My ranger truly impressed me. It's a bone stock FX4 and I took it up a trail that starts on Tiger Rd in Breckenridge and goes up to Georgia pass. The last third of the trail required me to run 4x4 with the rear...
I have seen a few tents under 200lbs so that still may be feasible. Really the benefit of the mountable tent is just convenience in the summer and ability to camp in the Rockies during the winter without having to dig out a site in the snow. It's not 100% necessary though as you said so I'm not...
