That had happened on my old '12 Escape a few times before the fuel pump went out. with that vehicle i always ran the tank down till the light came on. after getting the pump replaced I started filling it up at 1/4 tank.
I wish they made the 5 AMP version as a direct mount, only reason for wanting a direct mount was the fact I'm in a apt still and only wanted to run the AC extension cord out to the truck from my patio without having to worry about the charger. but with only 2 amps and one person already...
So this is a fairly recent thread so I'll just ask my question here since it has soon good information in this thread, for those of you with on board battery maintainers which one did you go with? I am deciding between these 2

you got lucky lol this is my fear with my truck, the AC box warping my 3-year expired lats week. i do have a 3rd party extended warranty for 6/75K with a $100 deductible and have used the company on previous vehicles so no worries there.
My truck had the same exact hit last year minus the tow hitch and the cost ended up being about $2700, they basically replaced the bumper core, painted the drivers insert magnetic gray and the damaged plastics, backup sensors and paint/ blended a small scrape behind the bumper in the corner.

Hello,
I only drive my truck every few weeks now, so I am looking into a solar charger to keep the battery maintained I ran across this one on amazon and was wondering if anyone here had any experience with it?
