I’ve got a 2019 with just under 40k miles on it and got in it last week and after about 30 seconds of idling, the low oil pressure light came on. Immediately turned it off. Called the dealer, the service advisor figured it was just a sensor that had gone bad but recommended it be towed just in...
They're the regular running boards. They do pretty well as rock sliders though, for my use anyways. They have taken a beating and aren't even bent or anything. I'll eventually upgrade, but it's nice to know they offer decent protection.
No major damage this time. Steps have already taken some hard hit but they are holding strong. My lower control arm did take a hit this time but nothing to worry about.
The stock Tacoma lost 3 of his 4 steps, they sheered right off.
…on a canyon run (Box Canyon in Florence, AZ)! It’s a local “Toyotas Only” group and they decided to open it up to any vehicle for a night. The group was still largely Toyotas, the only other outsider was a Jeep. There was a stock Tacoma TRD Pro but everything else was pretty built up. I’ve only...
I had my bed loaded full and gave the tailgate a little muscle to close and the passenger side popped off and I found this black piece. When I popped the tailgate back on, it wiggles a little bit on that side. How does this piece fit back in to make the tailgate snug again?
I'm headed from Phoenix to Flagstaff (181 miles with 6,000+ feet in elevation gain) tomorrow for a little weekend getaway with some friends. I love trips too! Hoping to find a little snow to wheel around in, but weather may not be favorable for it. Of course I head up there in time for their...
I've got Bilstein 5100s on it, basically just a leveling kit, and takeoff wheels and tires from a Bronco that measure 255/75/17. Like I said, I was doing some fairly grueling offroading when the noise started.
Finally had some time to kill in the garage and it was the sway bar link. Tightened it up and went for a drive and problem solved. Thanks for the diagnosis!
In my opinion, it is worth the price. I love that I can save maps for offline and I can also drop pins for my favorite camping spots or make notes on things to look out for the next time I hit a certain trail.
I use a small device that enables Apple Carplay and OnX is compatible with that. For...
Unfortunately it was not as simple as adding wiper fluid, I topped it off and the noise is still there. Didn't get a chance to take a better look at everything, hopefully tomorrow or Thursday.
I'm going to second this opinion. The Bilstein 5100's are a nice, economical upgrade but I do wish I had gone further with a full coilover set. The Bilstein 5100's though are just fine for the street if you dont plan to offroad at all.
