Just got a call from my local dealer that had quoted me a price to install the TBC letting me know they are having a really hard time figuring out how to install it. Has anyone in the Atlanta area successfully had one of these installed by a dealer?
Seems their trepidation is running the wires...
Any who has these know if the covers for the front seat include a cover for the center armrest/console between driver/passenger?
Unclear on manufacturer website.
Just a follow up to this post. So I did my first towing with the Ranger and the Curt Echo this past weekend. I had zero issues with connecting or staying connected throughout the drive. My only gripe was that I could never get the calibration just right on the controller. I even cranked the...
Hello Everyone!
Back in early May I ordered off the Ford accessories site the “oem” tbc in hopes it would be installed in time for a trip I’m taking with a trailer at the end of next week. Well, here I am nearly a month and multiple calls later with no TBC or firm install date from my dealer...
I currently have the kit on order from Ford Accessories and picked the option to install for $120 with a specific local dealership. I’m assuming there will be some back and forth once they realize the amount of labor associated with doing it right.
Yeah, I’m hunting for a Lariat Tremor here in Atlanta and I’ve had one dealer just straight up refuse to honor xplan - which to my understanding it is optional for them to take or not. Supply is low here, I get their motivation but it is annoying.
Sounds about right. Back when I bought the 2019 I got a heck of a deal bc they were having trouble moving them then. Now they seem very content to tell anyone to screw off and blatantly pull bait and switches. I’m going to try expanding the search north up in to Tennessee and I suppose...
Trying to trade my 2019 xlt fx4 in and snag a 2021 Lariat Tremor Package in Atlanta. 1st attempt this morning they offered me 5k under the low end on my trade value and refused to honor x-plan. They had the truck at 44500 (pre-tax) but then added 2900 in random dealer add ons like wheel well...
Tried get a local dealer to match the 36k carvana offer on my 2019 so I could trade into a 2021. Denied, they held firm at 31k. I’ll try a couple more local dealers I suppose and if they all stay around that I’ll move on. Taxes here suck and I need to trade to soften the blow on the new purchase.
You aren’t crazy. Same situation on my 2019. A/c crapped out during a drive up from Florida in September heat. It was basically acting like (and probably was) it was freezing up and wouldn’t work again until I turned it off for an hour or so to thaw. The air was loudly blowing but nothing coming...
I’ve got the same thing going on. Was your dealer able to recreate and fix it?
Mine runs cold for 10-15 min before crapping out, I’m concerned they are going to think I’m crazy and do nothing.
That and say I bring it in and I have issues with three separate things, do I get hit for $100 on each or just $100 for the one trip to the service department. Basically just trying to figure how much they jerk you around once you get past the factory warranties and are tapping into the ESP.
As I am approaching a year in service and 12k miles I am strongly considering getting the Ford ESP PremiumCare from Flood Ford. I’m planning to do 8 years/120k/$100 deductible. I generally keep cars for about 8 years so this is about right for my needs.
My one concern is the $100 deductible...
