I remember back in the 60's we used to joke about what STP really stood for, like "stop teenage pregnancy" and "share the pus_y"
Hey, we were rowdy teens, and car guys.
I live 50 miles from a major metro city and the stubby is scratchy on AM in places like near power lines and big buildings. FM seems fine.
I mostly listen to XM.
If I remember correctly installing the TM switch gives you the TM functions, it just doesn't show up on the dash display so you know which mode you are in. You need Forscan for that.
Day before yesterday got in the truck and a totally different screen came up with the black color and a different display of the song and even an album cover pic on the side. Just figured that sync updated overnight. The new screen is much better to me.
I finally got my TM knob and installed it this morning. It all works as advertised. Thanks to everyone on the forum for the explanations and videos. It helped a lot .

Question about Forscan, I tried to download it and when I said the free 2 month license it took me to the Forscan forum where I can get it free. I am now registered on the forum. When i plug in the cable will it go to the forum or the actual Forscan site. A little confused, sorry.

My dad let me drive on Long Beach when I was 12. (1962). Every time we went down to see his aunt Rose I started bugging him to drive the beach. Love it there.
