Installed mine today... Had to use a breaker bar through the passenger wheel well to loosen the transmission bolt. Measured 9 on the dipstick... 35k miles on the 2019 truck... Glad I checked
You can always splice in your wire to his and see if he is talking about you... Seriously you can probably websearch telephone service in ZIP code to figure out who manages landlines or maybe is DSL is still offered...
I am on 5.5 y 2019 ranger battery doing a lot of maintenance in the last 2years. My edge isn't so maintained and the edge if not similarly maintained might be having same issues. My 3y old edge battery needs maintenance it's starting to degrade and was not nearly so aware of issues until...
I have taken to investing in a bunch of adapters and hanging an sae cable and a NOCO genius cable direct wired but I still anchor the negative cable connector to the body instead of the neg battery terminal but that just doesn't do the job it seems... I am seriously thinking of pulling the air...
Have a 2016 edge and have put in two batteries... I am due next year. Three years if you don't watch them...seem to have the same parasitic draw these rangers suffer from. An original battery is unlikely on a '19. It's in a location that is difficult to clamp on a maintainer
Depending on the year and motor there is a stubby underneath the air cooler or you just open up a port on the side and pour in fluid till it leaks on the floor... I have to just disassemble the air cleaner to get my hand on the stubby
I picked up a case of motocraft oil filers ... They are not going on the ranger. I am doing quick changes on my wife's fusion hybrid thinking between hybrid and not using the filters long on non turbo engine I should be ok... After all used to put fram on... They probably are about same quality
I am surprised the rear axle is intact, but with a rope tied to the hood latch you can invent pull steering..or you can level it with couple of redneck honeys on the front seats with you
You might want to desulfate your battery...might be able to get it in better shape. Desulfate/ recovery mode a few times with the BMS disconnected. Others have brought the battery back from the dead or you can buy a fresh battery... Your call if you want to deal with it or not
And at that point it would probably be the safest resolution for all parties... But something tells me that wisdom doesn't run in either gene pool... No proper paint tarp...etc... so likely before the circus he will try to get his things...
Gas leak? Sounds like the truck might be a bit tight...where does it seem the sound is coming from...underneath, engine... You might be able to narrow it down some
