  1. Anybody planning to lower their 2019 Ranger?

Seems like a lot of work for an easy fix. Hope they get you sorted out soon.
  2. Anybody planning to lower their 2019 Ranger?

Any updates? Seems some adjustable length trailing arms would have worked well here. Could help with the alignment later if there are any tolerance issues.
  3. Anybody planning to lower their 2019 Ranger?

Liking it. Is the surface irregular or is it the angle but the back looks lower than the front.

  5. Anybody planning to lower their 2019 Ranger?

Waiting for good news here. This is one of my holdups to buying a Ranger on the spot. That and seeing if they are going to split that rear seat back.
  6. Uncomfortable

They probably never realized the bullet they just dodged.
  7. Uncomfortable

That's the issue right there. Trucks drive like crap compared to cars. They all do. The only people that think a truck drives nice are people that only drive trucks. I have a Volt and a Buick Regal GS also. When I go from either one of those to a truck all I can think of is what a garbage...
  8. “Free” Winter Tire Package in Ontario

Ha ha..... I had quick glanced the thread title and read it as Orlando. I was thinking who is the dealer offering this useless deal. Oh, Ontario. Never mind. Sounds like a good idea.
  9. Anybody planning to lower their 2019 Ranger?

Last time I checked them I got a big 'ol nope. I can't comprehend how there are 20+ companies selling lift or leveling kits and not a single one with a lowering kit. I mean you can still sell a decent amount of vinly LP records if you are the only place in town selling them. Sure they aren't...
  10. Anyone else get a "Engineers want to know" card ??

Don't forget to tell them about the lack of a split fold rear seat.
  11. Ranger's 2.3L 4-cyl vs. Colorado's 3.6L V6

Not sure why anyone would want one of these naturally aspirated V6 engines in a truck. They suck for truck use. All of them. No torque or it is so high in the RPM band you have to rev the bejeezus out of it hauling any loads or towing. I've been shopping for a replacement for my V8 Dakota for...
  12. Problems finding alignment shop after DIY leveling kit install

For anyone in Atlanta area that can't find a good alignment you can go to Gran Turismo East in Decatur or Fast Lane Imports in Smyrna. They will set you up anyway you want. Factory or your own specs.
  13. Problems finding alignment shop after DIY leveling kit install

The techs are morons. If they don't have the factory data they just need to zero the toe, make sure you have 4-5 degrees of caster and about .5 camber. This is safe for about any vehicle on the road.
  14. Anybody planning to lower their 2019 Ranger?

It looks tight. Is there enough room between the axle tube and the frame for a 6" drop and still have some clearance for movement? I was looking at more pictures of the rear and worried it might have to be notched or use an IRS for anything more than 2-3 inch drop. And oddly enough, half the...
  15. Anybody planning to lower their 2019 Ranger?

Any news yet on a lowering kit? I keep searching foreign markets too and just don't see anything.
  16. HUGE discounts Charlotte 100+ instock

$700 isn't chump change to many folks. Just mentioning it as someome may be used to paying under $100 in doc fees.. They'll be in for shock at some dealers in North Carolina, Georgia and Florida when they see another $600 to $1000 in unadvertised costs typed on the sales contract.
  17. HUGE discounts Charlotte 100+ instock

FYI. North Carolina is one of those states that don't regulate or limit many of the excessive dealer fees like some other states do. You will see some nice advertised prices but they WILL make it up on the back end.
  18. Rangers Selling as Family Car!

Agreed. Which is about what 90% of vehicle buyers do 100% of the time. I don't care if someone WANTS to buy a truck they don't need. Just stop pretending to need it. I have a truck that I need. When I don't need it I drive the car.
  19. Rangers Selling as Family Car!

Not knocking the Ranger but generally because they are cheaper, faster, handle better, ride smoother and get better gas mileage?
