I have the same OME 2.5" standard lift, and I am running a 255/80/r17 (33") Falken Wildpeaks. No other modifications to crash bars, fits and turns like it should. Marginal loss in power/mpg. The day after the install it snowed 6-8" and the new tires ate up the snow no problem.
Going off memory, here is what I keep around on a permanent basis:
In the passenger-side swing out box:
Silicone spray (for suspension lubrication)
Oil filter wrench
Sockets/wrenches/vise grips/Allen wrenches (all maintenance/mods on the truck are done with the tools out of this kit)
Headlamp...
Ahh the venerable P-3. I flew on airframes built in 1969, still flying around 2011-2012, though they're now resting easy in the "bone yard". That airframe was like a trusty farm truck, not pretty, but damn tough.
