Many years ago I had a 1990 f150 xlt with manual trans, 302, 4x2, long bed. If anything need a damper that tailgate did, it was heavy. If you wasn't paying attention it would pull you down with it. lol

I had to hold the phone about 5 inches from the exhaust for it to pick up the sound, even though I can hear it from wherever. When driving you can hear the exhaust but my phone won't pick it up.

I put the MBRP dual exhaust with chrome tips on last Friday. I think and my wife thinks it looks and sounds great. It seems a little louder after putting some miles on it.
