Dr Doug, I have the kit. I run a 2inch spacer in the rear, my wheels have a 35+ offset so it helps over stock offset wheels. Like OGMix said you can run a really low offset and that will work too. I feel most who have the kit are running spacers in the rear.

Hey Spazc, I’ve heard a bad hub bearing and the noise is continuous. It also gets louder with speed, I know you said it only makes noise when turning left but does it make noise on the street or highway? Also do you have 4wd? Could it be the left axle? Just trying to think of different causes.

I didn’t have any issues with those pieces. Seems like who ever put together that whole package of parts got mixed up with ranger and f150 parts.

I’m not sure what the shaft length is and I don’t think Baja kits states it anywhere other than being 3” longer for the LT kit.

Did you happen to measure the new shaft to see if it was 3” more? If it’s an f150 shaft, it will definitely be longer.

Are you putting the tripod on the correct side? And the tripod bearing goes in one specific way. I’m guessing you tried flipping it around.

Yes, they used my stock cv ends. The tripod should go in. You might have to tap it with a mallet if it doesn’t feel like it’s going in. It might be pressed in from the factory.
