Totally agree that no start issue may have nothing to do with the (no com) issue. Regarding the FOB - keys look original and they do work (lock, unlock, ignition). Start button is blinking (green).
Today I was unable to check the truck further. Hopefully tomorrow.
Double checked the continuity
2 - 17 - HS2 (-) - nothing
3 - 18 - HS2 (+) - nothing
4 - 19 - HS1 (-) - nothing
5 -20 - HS1 (+) - nothing
Pin 2 has only continuity with pin 3 (120 omh). The same with pin 4 it only has continuity with pin 5 (120 omh).
Contacted the local dealer. Based on...
Did you confirm that (NONE) of the Front DLC - pins connect to Pins 17 through 20? - yes
Basically the GWM may be internally circuited to cover both (options) for the wire harness, IDK if you checked all of them or just stopped at pin 3. - checked all
If Pin 3 DLC etc do not touch the pins...
I went through all the wires from OBD side. It clearly matches RHD logic, but the wiring is as it is supposed to be for LHD.
3 -> 3 (there is no wire going to this pin)
4 -> 1 (matches your diagram)
5 -> 14 (matches your diagram)
6 -> 5 (there is no wire going to this pin)
11 -> 2 (there is no...
One more thing. I have disassembled this module and plugged it in directly.
Grounds (2 wires) OK,
Power (2 wires) OK,
All 5 CAN lines have 60 omh resistance and voltage around 2.5V.
However I have no idea how OBD could work with such GTW internal wiring.
If the module's internal wiring would be the same as you posted in your diagram there would be no problem. Could it be that this module is for RHD drive?
I didn't expect such detailed answer. Thank you very much!
The wiring diagram you posted shows that all OBD pins are internally wired to GWM and those pins accordingly have wires.
I have the module disconnected and checked the pins wiring from OBD to GWM (continuity).
OBD -> GWM
3 -> 3 (there...
There is no obd connection.
There are no wires going to pins 2-5 (mine is left hand drive, which makes sense).
All CAN pairs going to SDLC have 60 omh resistance with SDLC connected.
Grounds are OK. There is constant power to pins 13 and 24 as shown in the wiring diagram.
From wiring...
