That extended warranty doesn’t get you home from the middle of nowhere. I’m 12 months out from getting rid of this truck so I’m going to be watching many brands. May even be able to be sold on a car with the right specs, if I could see myself putting it in and running to the grocery store...

Friend got one. It totally sits on top of the bed so makes it look really out of place and the shape of the corners is not a good match. Also not what I would call water resistant.
Could be that for the cost of a new vehicle we’d expect stupid little things to be correctly don’t. But the dealer shares in that. If you’re willing to pay good money for a new product that is not correct then your money is not well spent. For me it makes no sense to continue a brand loyalty...
With none of the new lineup meeting my needs I’ll be leaving next year when I’m ready. But due to the need to get elderly parents in an and out of a vehicle I’m probably going to look at BMW M5. Plus Ford has too many quality issues that I’m doubting will be fixed by the time I’m ready.
If it’s the blue stuff the methanol will boil off fast leaving weak soapy water at best. It’s not likely to hurt anything unless you dumped a gallon or more in it
