Total speculation on my part that it has something to do with the angle of the camera and it not being able to see the road due to the hill plus the weight of the trailer pushing the nose up? Either way it sounds like making sure you disable it is the only solution.
Run it through a power station that has pass through charging. When truck is running, it charges power station and power station passes through to fridge. When truck is off, power station supplies the juice. Get one with at least 500 amp hours and you can run most of the fridges for 15-24 hours...
This site has the most comprehensive guide to the non -big name fridges and power units I've found. Be sure to check his spreadsheets.

It's ridiculous that they're totaling these trucks and it makes me think there's something else going on. My family has been in the body shop business for 50 plus years and I've never seen or heard of full frame vehicles getting written off by insurance companies like some of the ones we've seen...
RP has the best plan but I bought this one for my VW and used it every winter for 5 years.

Anyone interested in doing the Wyoming BDR in 2023? I'm itching to do it this year but my summer is booked already - this would give us time to get organized and work out logistics of the rally points to get everyone together.
Ordering the first time is a little confusing; you don't need to order the magnetic holder, it comes with the first order. I ended up with two extra ones.

Funny story about @Stage3Motorsports is that I was still a bit on the fence regarding the Ranger until I watched Noah's video where he took a stock one off-road. That's what sold me. Ford probably owes them a commission.
I have the Drift wooden one in mine. Lots of less perfume smelling options, no spray or oil getting blown around, and it can set it up to send you a new one on whatever frequency you like. Anyone that rides in my truck comments on the subtle nice smell instead of the smell of my butt and how...
Just taking a second to mention how great it has been to work with the listed sponsors and some of the supporting vendors in this forum. All of the ones I've dealt with have been fantastic to work with. @Stage3Motorsports, @Discount Tire, @Zach@granger, and Benny from Levington Ford have all...
That's how I get to and from local spots. If I'm going further I use a hitch extension. Now I'm adding option 3 because I also want to be able to bring them with on my longer camping trips and want the bed back for camping gear.
