Update… all wired up… hard to get good pic but they are bright and were easy to aim. DRL are pretty cool… Obnoxious but cool. (Sorry it’s not my Ranger but thought it was relevant to the question. Pic of Ranger for the group!
I have two sets of them. Tons of bang for the buck, quality seems solid when you compare to the Amazon cheapies. On the Bronco, I run the 4” spot for A Pillar (rigid for ditch on the A pillar) and just put the combo on the bumper along with a combo of rigid and they’re great. On the Ranger I...
We run the Bronco hard (no tie rod issues because we have not lifted it improperly or messed with the geometry)... No leaks in our hard top, nor did we have any in the first Bronco with Soft top. Remember - Social Media - People with issues scream the loudest.
We have both a Ranger and a Bronco Badlands Sasquatch.
Our Ranger is built up as our Overlanding/Camping rig and we take the Bronco on more technical trails and group day-runs. The Bronco could definitely be built out for Overlanding, however, for our purposes, I prefer the truck with the bed...
No spacers. I was actually shocked that I didn't need them with the +55 offset stock wheels. Front Crash Bars are removed. I have a 2 1/2 level on the coil overs. I will confirm, however, that in the year I've been running them I have had a tiny bit of rub at full lock towards passenger a...
Same springs that came with the Fox 2.0. I have not noticed any discernable difference in the ride with the extra weight. I was hyper sensitive to it the first time aired down and on the trail but no issues at all. I did lose about 1/4" of my level up front when I installed.
Since we got our Bronco the poor Ranger has been a bit neglected other than our off-road camping trips. Decided to take it out solo and hit a couple trails this morning here in AZ just because. Little trip up to Mt. Ord then return through Bulldog Canyon.
2020 XLT Sport 4x4
Fox 2.0...
We have our 2020 XLT Ranger, and a 2021 Bronco Badlands... Could not be happier with both rigs. Sorry you had to cancel. We do have another Badlands on order but who knows when we'll receive this one....
I've actually used TC in our Bronco and it is nice in certain circumstances for sure, the downhill assist is great too. BUT... for my use in the Ranger build, not a necessity.
We have a Rear Locker on our XLT Sport 4x4 which is a MUST, upgraded the suspension for $1500 which we would have done anyway FX4 or not and added the Terrain Management switch (enabled it and off road modes with Forscan). Only thing we don't get is Trail Control which we don't need and last I...
I expect that we will see more and more of this over the coming years... As we know with Forscan there are lots of things that you can unlock that only come on higher packages (like turning on some of the off road menus and buying a $90 switch and turning on Terrain Management) etc... But, I...
We get that from Jeeps and Tacos turning their nose up at our Ranger and our Bronco (Some of the Die Hard Tacoma drivers are the worst though).... I don't hold any ill will, but it is comical how "exclusive" some get with off-road things (You can't go with us etc...). This weekend we did a...
I can't get my head around this at all...
I am 5'11", I am on 33's now (285/70/17) and have a 2 1/2" level up front. I can walk out, reach over the bed and touch the bottom of the bed even with the added overall height. I can not, however, reach "everywhere" in the bed from the side, I open...
Interesting thing about Tesla, arrived back home to the airport after a 4 day trip. My buddy's Tesla's 12v battery was dead for no apparent reason. Could not open the car, could not communicate with the car over the air, could not even get in to it at all... Had to call and wait for a...
I bought a Fumoto valve to replace it with, however it is still sitting in my toolbox.... I have the dealer do my oil changes and they drop the entire skid in one piece to do this oil change and don't charge me a dime extra. Since I don't enjoy doing my own Oil Changes, this is well worth it...
Everything but the Tailgate seems pretty normal to me. Took a good 1000-1500 miles for the transmission to settle in. On the Tailgate issue, silly as it may sound, did the dealer or someone install a tailgate damper? I have a damper and if the cable gets pinched between the damper and the bed...
I put together this after I installed mine. Hope it helps! If I had it to do over again, I would have bolted the three plates together then installed as one piece. The Dealer who does my oil change drops them in one piece in about 5 mins when they do the oil change. OR... put a futomo oil...
