When I see what I think is a pretty cool car like these, I flash back to my old R/C car days, and not all that long ago! Anyway, I get the urge to turn one of them into a HUGE R/C car. With no kid inside, and a dual battery setup, it would be killer!
THAT one ticked me off more than any other new car problem I've ever had. I spent hours trying to get a reasonable amount of money/credit for THAT screw job.
But getting back on subject... Get ready, I hope you're sitting down... Don't hurt me...
I just laughed my ASS off...
I've heard of that but didn't know if it was real. It is.

Dang, It seems there is no gift shop. :(
Tried to disable the Skip Shift function, but I couldn't find it.
I found nothing called "Progressive Range Selection" or "Skip Shift" like the voice mentioned in the video.
The closest thing I found was this, which I don't believe is the right spot.
I was expecting "Enable" and "Disable". Not...
Your USB communication settings? No you won't loose those.
Are there other settings that I'm forgetting about?
A few minutes ago I remembered that my brother and I were having a similar problem. I have a keyless ignition so this doesn't apply, but he had his key in the "run" or "on" position...
- According to the FORScan forum, RangerBill could be right.
The other lead I found in the forum was, "Make sure the Ignition is on".
There was also a mention of entering the part number of your PCM like the dialog box says.
Just me talking but I would do the 'delete truck's profile' thing...
I just noticed, no one answered the question.
Nope. It's not adjustable. Yet?. If it was I'd lower it a few Fº. 41 seems high.
And since I'm typing here again, it's certainly not necessary, but since I paid for it, I want to see it! :sunglasses:
Wow, that brings back memories. The Evian bottled water commercial with babies on roller skates.
The original is better but I can't find it. This is the same one, but edited to run longer.
It comes on at 5ºC which is 41ºF. Rather warm unless you're heading up into the mountains or straight into a storm. Like when has that ever happened... this week?
It could give you a 'heads up' sort of warning.
I would do that but everyone I know, knows that I have it. I bought three of them in 1979. Gave the other two away as presents. All were used for milk, Cool-Aid, wine, and other drinks. We all had fun with these things.
Hahaha! I have one of those. I use it as a wine decanter. Bought brand new at an Army/Navy store. Still in the oily box, still stapled closed with the factory staples, and inside it was still wrapped in that oily paper. Quite a heavy piece of glass too. Sometimes I wonder how old it is.
So...
It's there and available, but not enabled. Normally, you won't ever see it.
Yep, it's basically a temperature warning. Otherwise you have to look at the actual temperature on the display. That seems like a lot of work to me. Hum, maybe that's why the factory doesn't turn on that function. Well...
Nice Corvette. They forgot to say what the price tag is. One thing I really liked was that they used the words "fast" and "quick" properly. Most people have no idea that there is a difference. Cool car. Can I take it for a spin around the block?
I'll take the Mustang too, but they have to put...
Got bored and brought out the ol' PC with FORScan on it. (okay, I did this yesterday)
I enabled the Frost Telltale display.
I didn't needed it when I lived in NC. where I bought my Ranger. Now I'm back in MN. and I thought I might try it out. I'm not the first one to do this, but it's the first...
There are many threads here on how to get a copy of FORScan, and how to use, if that's what you mean.
This is the FORScan home page. https://forscan.org/home.html
I didn't know that about the Skip Shift thing. I was under the impression that fewer shifts were easier on the transmission. If the video is correct, I see this is not so. I know in tow/haul mode it hits every gear, but I was under the impression these are firmer shifts, and firmer shifts are...
