One dealer says they come prefilled, the other says they don't. Either way my fluid was pitch black and was not transparent. I'll show side by side pic of what was pulled vs new.
I found the source of the bubbles. I actually mentioned it in a previous post. It was the black transmission fluid the dealer dumped back into my new transmission, I think they mixed it half old & half new. Of course they denied it by saying the transmissions come prefilled. So I did 2 drain &...
Ok, thanks everyone for the feedback. As of now I'll consider it normal, or Ford normal. Almost a year later and I finally installed my PPE pan and Fitzstick.
I plan on leaving the FP tune on. Its definitely still in the relearn phase. Just curious about the cold starts cause I've noticed it on 3 different Fords.
What are your thoughts about cold start shifting? Is this normal?
I have a new transmission installed and it has some minor delayed shifts in 3-4 and 7-8th gear. Once the transmission temp hits 120° or higher, it shifts perfectly fine in all gears. It happens with the stock tune and with the FP...
I found some on eBay. The whole set goes for $150.

I'm at 49k miles and was at the dealership recently. He said my Grabbers had 7/32 of tread left. I think they'll last to 75k or more. Overall they're nice tires but noisy. I've seen a few suggestions mentioning Falken Wildpeak so I'll probably buy them.
No. They want me to ride with the tech to show him the siren sound because he said he only hears the tires. I said I would but they have to schedule something because the transmission techs are behind. I did notice the noise reduced a lot just on its own, it's still there but not as loud.
So in another chat, we believe the numbers point to Julian Date. So 2 digit year, 3 digit day (365). So 22206 is July 25, 2022. And 24156 is June 4, 2024.
I do remember seeing a member on here post the tc number but don't recall if the trans was reman which would make sense. My work order only had one part number, KB3Z-7000-B. Dug around online and the number for the tc is KB3Z-7902-ATC. Not saying you're wrong, it was my theory as to why the atf...
Will do. My problems are still there even with a new transmission (4th, 8th gear rough shift, bubbles on dipstick). I'm thinking it's the torque converter for my problems and for that noise.
I've seen other member's paperwork on here and it has the trans and TC listed with the part number, but on mine it only had the 10r80 part number. Not sure why they didn't change it on mine but I'm pissed.
