So I actually just traded my Ranger in the other weekend for an F-150, with one kiddo in a car seat and another on the way it just made sense to get a second bigger vehicle. Our Explorer ST will be great when they're a little older, at least in forward facing, but right now its a little...
How do the Eibach 2r rear shocks handle with some weight on them? Naturally my Fox 2.0's are very unhappy with the leer canopy i put on the bed, so need something that offers more support and control while still letting me drive like a dumbass on some dirt roads. I messaged shock surplus and...
My rb20s are the same for me. Slim enough to not really get in the way, but wide enough that if lesser vehicles try to open their doors into mine they'll hit the step. Plus they keep rocks from being thrown up the side of the truck
Only concern is that they don't tell you what kind of stainless steel it is... makes me think they're trying to pull a fast one, but i might be reading into their marketing too much.
Theres a function you can run through Forscan to do an ABS bleed, i ran that and it help some. Its still not an ideal brake pedal feel but its a hell of a lot better. One note for that procedure, it makes a hell of a noise.
If you're already leveled, you can run a 285/70/17 tire if you address the crash bars. The BDS stuff is totally unnecessary to achieve your desired tire size. So just get the Fox 2.0's or the Eibach. Pro to the Fox, its very supple and comfortable. However it doesn't handle weight in the rear...
I did an event in Washington a few years back on the backside of the Dirtfish rally school, and it blew me away how capable my ranger was. Never once did i lose traction in the very sloppy conditions, it just walked up all the obstacles (good spotter helped), and had no issues fording and...
I'm in a somewhat similar spot, I noticed my rear suspension was extra squishy once i put the fiberglass canopy on with the Fox 2.0's. I'm guessing it weighs about 300 lbs, plus a swing case with tools, probably 75 lbs total. I'm leaning towards the medium load OME springs, any thoughts?
I...
Maybe they're better for that, i had them when i was still in Washington where they got a lot of use in rain. Maybe i'll give them a shot again now that i'm in New Mexico, but my Bosch are still going strong.
I've been fully converted to Bosch wiper blades, i had a set on my Focus ST for 3 years in the Seattle area before they needed to be replaced. Didn't get quite the same abuse in the sun as other places, but they didn't streak for 3 years so I call that a win. I briefly tried some other brands of...
Shop around, i was with progressive for a bit and ended up at Liberty Mutual this year and dropped my 6 month premium by 200 bucks despite my wife's speeding ticket. There's no reward for staying loyal to these companies anymore.
Since you've got a lariat, the Cylinder #4 issue shouldn't be as likely since you'll have the engine cover. I did the plugs on my '19 lariat last year, and had zero issues.
