Is there any benefit to purchasing early in the original warranty life span other than the price increase protection obviously?
Is there any additional coverage on top of the factory, trying to decide pay now or later lol.
Factory warranty is 3yr/36k miles bumper to bumper, 5yr/60k miles for drivetrain.
Ex: If any electronic device goes out after 3 years, you get no coverage for repairs.
Getting a Premium Care ESP will cover just about everything for the duration of the plan.
I have the Premium Care set at 8yr/125K miles, so if anything goes wrong, I'm covered.
The longer you wait, the more it will cost you.

You are correct! Purchasing sooner than later is good because of price increases, but other than that, the coverage would be like Factory coverage with Premium Care!

Yeah I have no idea what you saying

Bought brand new in November of 2021.
Added an extended warrenaty to 60,000 miles and it expired a few days ago
If you vehicle is over 41 months from the first in-service date and your factory warranty runs out, you would have a Used Car Warranty and an inspection would need to be done. If your ESP runs out and/or you are over miles, an inspection will be needed. That is why it is nice to purchase it before it runs out!
Yeah I have no idea what your saying: This is what I do know so fill me in from here

Bought brand new in November 2021 added an extended warranty to 60,000 miles same night i bought the truck
Zero warranty as I type this, ran out last week.

What am I buying now? used?
Do I need an inspection?
How much time do i have to buy, girl in your office says a few weeks, what exactly is a few weeks?

Depends on mileage on your vehicle. If it is over 60,000 miles then yes you would require a used vehicle inspection, but if his warranty just expired then you have 15 days to purchase without us requiring a used vehicle inspection.

Does that help?

Yes sir it does.
I am under 15 days from expiration.
Inspection didn't concern me, I'm just trying to figure out what I need to to.

Just want to say thanks to Zach.
Transferring my residual ESP form my '21 to my '24 was very easy and economical.
And you can't beat their price of a Premium Care 8yr 125k mile ESP. My dealer tried to sell me it at 'their cost' of $1,000 more than Granger.

I can see transferring the residual ESP from a 21 to a 24 being easy, but I am not sure I understand how it was economical. How much of the purchase price did they credit you from the warranty on the 21? Years ago I had a Ford ESP on an Expedition. I sold the Expy right before the 3/36 bumper-to-bumper warranty ran out. Ford compensated me for my ESP, but as I recall, it was just a little over 50 cents on the dollar. And that was for an ESP that never even kicked in. IMO, the best time to buy an ESP is right when the 3/36 warranty is about to expire.

On my 21 Ranger, the 3/36 warranty runs out at the end of January 2025. I am ready to pull the trigger on an ESP from Granger, but my wife is opposed to buying one. Typically, I would agree with her and just set aside money for repairs. I am concerned about the HVCS system and the automatic trans. Before the 3/36 warranty runs out, my Ranger will be going in for clicking noises from behind the dash. The issues is definitely HVAC related and sounds like an actuator is not functioning properly.

My original ESP on the '21 was about $1600 for 8yr/125K. When I traded it in it had been 3yrs, 6months and 59K miles since purchase. They gave me $950 refund from my original ESP and applied it to the new 8yr/125K for my '24 Ranger, which was about $2300. So, I only had to pony up $1350 cash.
But also remember Granger does payment plans if you wish.

Over the weekend, things have changed regarding the years/miles that an Extended Warranties can be purchased.

To purchase an ESP for your vehicle, it must be 2020 or newer and under 60k miles.

Fords still in Factory Warranty or out of - https://grangerfordextendedwarranty.com/
Mopar still in Factory Warranty or out of - https://www.buymoparwarranty.com/
Other vehicles - https://grangerwarranty.com/

We are still $25 over dealer cost for Ford/Mopar.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

I am sorry for any inconvenience.

Vehicles are expensive these days and the price to fix an issue, can add up quickly.

A simple leak or break can add to a major issue. This can add up to a lot of labor and payments.

Get your ESP today on a new or used (2020 or newer) vehicle and be covered today!

Please let me know if you have any questions!
