That's what they say, but notice the 24% humidity and high dew point. Makes it feel thick here now. We are in the monsoon, so we get heat and humidity like everyone else does. But, it's a dry heat!

You call 24% humidity? I woke up this morning to 70%.That's what they say, but notice the 24% humidity and high dew point. Makes it feel thick here now. We are in the monsoon, so we get heat and humidity like everyone else does.
Comparatively speaking, since here we often have humidity in the single digits, and a previous post mentioned "dry heat", and our dew point hovers in the 60%+ range during monsoon season, yes. It feels a little humid. You call 24% humidity? I woke up this morning to 70%.

Our dew point right now is 69° and it's not that bad out, with a little breeze. Don't even start to consider it until it is well over 60°.Comparatively speaking, since here we often have humidity in the single digits, and a previous post mentioned "dry heat", and our dew point hovers in the 60%+ range during monsoon season, yes. Weather it is the 60 percent humidity or 77 degree dew point or the 92 degrees, I can testify that it is like a sauna here. Also 97 degree temps for the next two days.Comparatively speaking, since here we often have humidity in the single digits, and a previous post mentioned "dry heat", and our dew point hovers in the 60%+ range during monsoon season, yes. I grew up in southern Virginia, so I well remember the combined heat and humidity on that side of the world and I don't miss it at all. Air so thick you can see and feel it sometimes. Nope, don't miss that at all. I feel for ya.Weather it is the 60 percent humidity or 77 degree dew point or the 92 degrees, I can testify that it is like a sauna here. So do people actually look at dew point and humidity before deciding to do things?I grew up in southern Virginia, so I well remember the combined heat and humidity on that side of the world and I don't miss it at all. Air so thick you can see and feel it sometimes. Nope, don't miss that at all. I feel for ya.
