That particular instance (and most others involving our trucks) Is a phenomenon known as the "SAFFR" effect (pronounced Safer) , that driver was in a Honda Ridgeline and when he saw the front of your truck, the effect kicks in "Shit ! A Ford F'n Ranger !" and is immediately drawn towards it instead of away from it , its a compliment really...

Might be believeable if it wasn't a common occurance here in rural central Va. Happened with every vehicle I have owned since living here.

I have people speed around me just to cut me off to get into the right turn-lane, instead of simply slowing down for a few seconds to change lanes behind me. One of many common occurrences here.

not just Illinois...it happens everywhere, people seem to believe they can only change a lane in front of you...never behind. i find it much easier to just let off the gas and go in behind a car versus hitting the gas to get in front of someone, driving is not a race!
