Wow...thats impressive!

Yesterday I was able to log in and check some of the more interesting and entertaining threads, among them the "Where's Dave" threads. Today I check in to find not only those threads gone, but WV_Ranger is banned for what appears to me to have been an attempt to question the powers that be about removing the good-natured fun many of us have been having at Dave's expense.

What the heck?

I realize there's much we cannot know that happens behind the scenes in a forum such as this, but it does seem to me a bit strange to have threads that are obviously very popular...about a member that has contributed MUCH to this forum and ITS popularity...removed.

It's no secret that Dave and I are friends, and I have no problem being called biased to some extent in that regard, but whatever the heck is going on here now is, in my opinion, not cool at all and I am very disappointed in this forums leadership.

Just throwing this out there as an Idea, nothing more; There could be a possibility that dave has been injured, or worse and the site admins are the only ones aware of the situation and don't want anything known at this time.

Or, people were getting little too off the rails and they opted to best delete the thread. This is the forum about the truck, not off-topic discussion.



I know my avatar has an iron helmet, but perhaps it's best to keep it iron and not tinfoil if you catch my meaning.



Now to take more pain killers and ride this gravy train little while longer...

Understood, good neighbor. Your point is quite valid.

But Dave and I ARE friends and do speak multiple times a week. When I tell you he's fine, it's because he's told me so himself. I'm not making that part up.

And to tack on to your train of thought, if I may...not only is this a truck forum, but a FORD truck forum. So I reckon if we hold to that parameter we shouldn't be discussing anything but FORD trucks, no matter how much we like and care about other people posting in here about things like guns, or pictures of beautiful scenery, or other truck brands and their amazing builds/modifications.

So why is it the "Where's Dave" threads weren't moved there instead of apparently being deleted altogether, I wonder?

Like I said, we can talk about Chevy truck builds and pictures and guns, and even share jokes and funny memes and stupid things people do when the redneck and Darwin genes make themselves known, but goofing around/showing concern for a popular member that happens to be a Moderator is now taboo?

I'm going to go on a whim and say that WV_Ranger might have been getting on some of the Admins nerves lately, or better yet making some other individuals unhappy so he got reported enough.

As for why the "where is Dave" thread is gone I have no idea, but then again I didn't bother with it. I did have my fun of sharing it with Dave just for fun and I figured he got a Laugh out of it. I don't even recall having any issues myself.

Lol you should see my thread with the Rant of "Silly Diesel Owners"!!! You will get a kick out of it with an individual in another part of the world not being happy with it!!

2 More weeks until I get the rest of my teeth removed. Then it's about 1 week after that til I get my initial denture set. Then it'll be adjustments every couple weeks for the next 6 months.

My gums are a little sore, but nothing I can't manage. Getting little tired of protein shakes and pudding though...

My stuff gets zapped all the time. No explanation. Even when all I said is we have a bot infestation we should look out for. And how the federal reserve was created and who runs it. Just regular innocent stuff.
