I’m sure everyone has some interesting stories to share where their Ranger has a special (or less special) part in it.

Is it something funny, embarrassing, some kind of special adventure, something romantic, some kind of truck work done what seemed almost impossible, some other kind challenge was accepted, etc. Whatever it is, untold stories, please share them!

A simple yet unknown story…

I work from home most days, but I can see my Ranger all day from my office window. A small but great joy!

The most shocking thing happened with mine the day I brought it home. I dropped the tailgate and it slammed down so hard it scared me. o_O I knew right there it was time to get to work and make a damper for the new Ranger! Now all is well with the world again!:inlove:

I smoked a f250 turbo diesel dummy at a stop light. His truck was belching black smoke right in front of me. I wasn't initially trying to pass him just get beside him and out of the nasty exhaust plume but he kept speeding up and cutting me off to keep me back there. At the next light I was able to get beside him at the red light, he kept revving it up belching all the way, when the light turned green. I accelerated normally, he floored it so I punched it and passed him and left him in my dust! For the next 2 miles he wouldn't get up beside me again even though I slowed down. Diesel dummy!

When I was a kid, the next-door neighbor was an old time master Ford mechanic...last name was Hillmeyer. One day I saw him working on his Mercury and went over to see what was going on. He was just finishing a tune-up and when he was done said watch this...
With the motor running he balanced a nickel on top of the radiator...I watched it for at least 5 minutes, and it stayed perfectly upright with no sign of moving! ?

As far as special adventures go it was our month long trip (5,000 miles) last June. We had been planning this for a few years now and it was the first time taking the Ranger on such a long trip though 5 states. The Ranger ran flawless and we had such a great time and made so many memories though every state we passed through. Having most here follow along made it extra special and we're planning on doing it again this June.

This was the main reason we planned this trip. One of the best sights I've ever seen on land and by air in a helicopter.
