If I remember right from my 2011 those folded down then the seat back folded up againt the door. So you sat facing each other. I would even put a child back there. Never used mine for anyone. It would be a death trap in an accident.

My preteen grandchildren stated they were uncomfortable on long rides.

I bought this new in 2003 and had it for just under 17 years. It had 145,000 miles on it and was starting to have costly repairs come up, so I decided it was best to put that money into a down payment for a new truck. Bought my 2019 Ranger in December when they were offering crazy rebates.

When I sold it, I was imagining that I would let them talk me down a bit and just be able to get rid of it for a couple of thousand. After all, it did need to have some work done. Wound up selling for a thousand over what I was asking. From the time I listed it twenty minutes later there was a flood of interest and offers. Had I held onto it longer, could have probably even sold it for more. It was a good truck that lasted for 17 years, so no complaints (other than the gas mileage).

The only advantage with the jump seats is that when they were folded up gave you more back seat storage space.
