I've got this

The worse thing is when I remove something that has only 6 bolts, then go to reassemble and find that one bolt is 1/2" longer and remember where the longer one goes.

I have never opened up a laptop, but I do my own builds/upgraded on PC's.
Once I had to remove a mother board to install backer plates for a new CPU cooler. I dropped one of the MB screws in the case. Now that's panic time. Took a while to find it.

Laptops are notorious for having multiple identical looking but different length screws scattered across the bottom.
