Dogs don't have to be drunk to break/tear up the furniture. Just being bored to death.

about 15 years ago I had a Black Lab that greeted me at the door in a room much like this. I'm still missing 3 dvd's and a complete photo + frame.

Lol, It's possible. Funny thing is he never was sick or adversely affected after that. Also was the only time that happened lol. Lesson to learn from this: never give your dog a bouncy ball to play with while you're out.

Absolutely. Labs are great! My current lab has a birth defect where his muzzle is crooked and he can only open his mouth about a half inch. He's the best dog I've ever had and doesn't let it slow him down. Plays with his frisbee, chews on antlers and loves to play tug-of-war if we can squeeze the toy in between his teeth lol. Nothing stops that dog.

When I was a kid we rescued a Rat Terrier named Waco. That dog was nuts. Our nickname for him was Diesel Powered Devil Dog. When he was a puppy he tore into a bag of Sevin Dust insecticide. Basically had a tummy ache for a few hours but was back to (his) normal by that evening. Twice we tried to rehome him (my mother's ultimatum), but after the second family brought him back tied to a spare tire in the back of the truck, we finally gave up and kept him. He lived a long happy crazy life at my dad's feet.
