You can have mine...PM me with your address...BTW, to get rid of the air bubbles, apply light soapy water to glass and back of decal then squeegy water out with credit card:like:
OMG! that decal looks as though it was stuck on without any amount of pride ! Embarrassing for Ford...

I also agree that pride was not involved in my sticker placement as well as a few other items. I also had to have a dent in the hood from a tie down strap during shipment fixed and over spray from the factory bed liner on the rear fender repaired. But in the end I love this truck.

One of my college part time jobs was working for a car rustproofing business here, my particular duties was to shuttle brand new 1974 VW's from the dealerships parking structure to the undercoating area they had set up, mask the fenders and running boards, rack the car for the undercoating guy, unrack it when he was done, tear off the masking material, wipe off the overspray and return the car to the structure. It was a messy and tedious job, especially if I did not mask the car properly or if the undercoating gun went berserk. The undercoating came off easy enough with solvent, provided it was still freshly applied. If memory serves me correct my pay was $4.00/hour and we were expected to process a certain amount of cars in the work day.
I can identify with the poor soul that now has the same duties with regards to the spray-in bedliner, must be a PITA to remove once it's dried.
But, of course I'm sure he's (or she) getting paid considerably more than four dollars an hour.

tht sux, i had somthg under the paint on rr door jamb lip. i had to mess w it and it ended up being a goober of undercoat. j7 touch up with some micro applicators to touch up base/clear. today i need to rub in/buff to blend smooth. being picky is a curse...

My wife’s is 2 weeks old and we already had to get a new windshield. Damn Florida and road construction everywhere. Replaced with a new OEM windshield. I called Ford customer service, they said they will send me a new one via USPS.

Cool. Worth bumping a two and a half year old thread to mention that. :p
Hi Augie,

I agree....I am SO disappointed with assembly quality from Michigan Truck Assembly which is what we called it during my 30 years at Ford... Where is the pride? Certainly does not show as far as I can tell. And the Plant Vehicle Team (PVT) has gone overboard in decontenting... really sucks...

Manager must need his bonus to keep his 42 ft Sea Ray running...

best,
Phil

I wasn't bumping a thread. It showed up and I posted a reply. Sorry the algorithm works the way it does for suggestions. Will check my dates going forward.

Sorry I was a bit of an a-hole. I see old threads bumped all the time and it does seem for some reason they are presented to people when they should not be. My apologies. I was just goofing around.
