I need Tortoise wax which to my knowledge does not exist. I sit him on my lap and rub his shell with my fingertips...the oils do shine up his shell. Tito loves his shell rubbed as he can feel it and it is a good feeling to him (and other tortoise) as there are thousands of nerve endings attached to the inside of the hard shell.

Hi Paul,

Tito does not like the fruit or the pads. He was a born in captivity and grew up eating Kale, which is his food of choice. I have mixed up a bit of prickly pare pad in his Kale and he eats around the pad bits... He is a very picky eater, but amazing how much he eats! He is bulking up for the upcoming brumation (like hibernation).

Cool your neighbor's tortoise dine on your prickly pare cactus!
