Getting this intermittent message and malfunction in my 2020 XLT. Sometimes the park sensors work perfectly and then on the next engine startup I will get the "Check Park Aid" fault and the sensors will shut off automatically and wont re-engage until I cycle the ignition.

I saw some topics about faulty sensors but I'm not sure if thats the case here as I'm getting a different message.

Hi Morgan,

There is a large electrical connector behind the left front headlight. I found mine was not seated and with great trouble I got the click to show it seated....fixed my front parking sensor problem.

I'll certainly check that. Either way the truck goes to the dealer for its first service tomorrow so i've asked them to take a look. Hopefully they can recreate the behaviour and diagnose properly.

I had a similar message on my Escape when I had the front bumper off and sensors unplugged for a FMIC install.
