Evening everyone,
I love my new Ranger, but just as when I first saw it, I'm not sure about my feelings regarding the stock 18" wheels.
The 18" wheels are machined aluminum and the tires are Dynapro ATm 265/60R18s.
These are a little fancy looking for my normal taste, but besides that, I like to take my vehicles off road and all of my past vehicles have had 15" or 16" wheels with more sidewall available.
How do others who have these feel about them?
Given the limited sidewall, has anyone aired down anywhere around maybe 18-24 for coarse sand conditions or to improve ride on rocky roads?
Not looking for anything crazy, not driving in moondust or dunes, just would like to understand the limitations.
Also... Has anyone ever heard of trading these for other stock steel wheels or for whatever another model might use that is more like 16" and less flashy?
Thanks!
