Rhyolite near Beatty is an interesting ghost town. The Atomic Inn in Beatty is a real throw back in time to stay the night, a lot of what seems like Russian people there. For a really weird overnight stay try the Amorgossa Opera house at the junction.. It’s all hot desert crap but fun nonetheless..
If you want to rock crawl nothing insane then go to the Alabama hills outside of Lone Pine before they close it down.. fun stuff!!

Lots of Russians have been buying up the hotels and motels out west. All of them in Keystone SD were owned by Russians the last time I was there.
