I have a Smart Tag attached to the key ring which my Ranger key Fob is on. I have always been able to locate the key ring with a ring notification from the Tag through the Samsung App. But have never been able to locate the phone which can be done by pressing the Tag itself twice. When I press the Tag, the Tag itself rings but there is not a ring notification from the phone itself so it can be located. The Tag battery is good.
This morning I pressed the lock button on the Ranger key Fob and surprisingly the phone opened with the message something to the effect "Tag is trying to locate phone" but then it disappeared and I couldn't duplicate it later by hitting the lock button again. Seems like the Ranger Fob might be interfering with this function? Has anyone had this problem and been able to fix it?
