I recently had the pleasure of working with Katzkin for my 2019 Ranger project. The quality is better than I expected. Looks OEM. I decided to go with their "XT" leather. This leather is thicker and made to take a beating. While their other leather options are softer, more like the German automakers, the XT is meant to get dirty and stand the test of time. With my outdoor lifestyle of surfing and snowboarding, this was a perfect fit.

I chose black leather, with contrasted blue stitching to match the Ford logo. I did not want to go over the top with suede or anything crazy. Blue happens to be my favorite color as well. Feel free to ask any questions. Let me know what you think!

Since I can't seem to get a dealer on the phone in my area, what did that set you back? Do they offer anything to match the center console lid?

As for pricing, when you design your interior on Katzkin's easy to use site, it will give you a price for the materials. I was quoted $400 cash to do the installation from a local interior installer in Anaheim, CA.

I forgot to mention that they give you a ton of extra leather and stiching to accomodate the other pieces of the interior. The cloth on the door cars are replaced with leather. I did not have time to wait for the center console/shift boot/Ebrake, but all of those pieces are getting the same Katzkin leather to match. I hope that helps! I worked with Miles Hubbard at Katzkin. They go above and beyond to help design the perfect interior for each person.

Diamond stitch.... it's got the 1970's conversion van / big rig trucker vibe going.

Yes, or the 2020 Grand Cherokee, or the Audi S models, or Lamborghini, or Kia, and almost every other brand that offers diamond stitched interiors as options.

Thanks for info. His will be my design once I pick a time.
Diamond like Audi. Should hold up better and less wrinkle.
Love it.
Exactly, my girlfriend has an SQ5 with the diamond stitch, which is where I got some of the inspiration! It holds up much better being that it is the thicker leather. Also, I was told to take it back to the installation shop right before the 2 year mark, and they will replace the leather under the 2 year warranty. To give me the fresh look.

Will you do the door cards and shifter? I have Sader so might do doors in a color trend. I hope on the armrest the installer can use dense foam as the OE is rock hard underneath.

My Wife's Tucson. For others, the color match OE trim. Perfect.
Cloth before.

Yes, the cloth in the door cards have been replaced with the black leather to match the seats. Down the line, I might go with a blue leather contrast on the door cards, but for now, you can see the leather door cards in the first picture. This was included in installation. I still have plenty of leftover leather from Katzkin that is also inlcuded. As for the shifter, i am taking the shitboot, Ebrake, and center console to a friend that does great detailed work. It will all be swapped with my matching Katzkin leather and blue stitching. I will add padding to the center console as well.

Great choice. Katzkin makes a great product. My son had it in a Dodge pickup, and it held up very well.
