So helped a hooked sea turtle return to the wild while fishing today. Saw a dolphin feeding in 2 feet of water and caught 12 keeper speckled trout. Aslo forged some deep water killing my horn. Who can recommend a good replacement that won’t get waterlogged?

No. That is fresh water run off following all the rain we had last week and earlier this week. The salt water only gets that high during tropical storms and hurricanes in that area along the bridge.

After a week or two, that area will be all fine powder loose sand and tons of people get stuck there. When dry, the Ranger can roll through it no problem especially now that I added the 4x4 terrain modes with forscan and the switch.

I really need to get back out there. I went one holiday weekend and it was a sh$t show... a lot of partying. I like it when its peaceful. After that I've been more into Matagorda.. which can be crazy also so don't ask me to explain my logic lmao.

Matty is more secluded most of the time. I only go to SLP during the week. The weekends during the summer is a hot mess no doubt. On Tuesday It was just me with 2 other fisherman over by the bridge. Had it to myself. Yesterday there were several more people out there.

I need to take a day off from work and go during the week. I work 8-5... :(. I've been thinking about getting into the texas shark rodeo. I'm not a good fisherman but I still enjoy going out there and relaxing.
