Hey guys, I've had my Ranger since December of 2019. It has taken me many road trips, adventures, and years to finally get into researching tonneau covers. I'm hoping this post helps folks that are on the fence or need more resources in order to pull the trigger on covering up your bed.

I ended up reaching out to Peragon Enterprises to see if they wanted to sponsor a video to provide insight on what their cover can offer, which they gladly did!

So a few features that are important to me:

  1. Security - I need to feel like the cover is going to stand up to thief attempts when I'm in the store, at a campsite, or just asleep in my apartment.
  2. Safety from the elements - Being in Texas, it rains alot so I want to ensure anything I load up doesn't get soaked!
  3. Bed space - I'd like to ideally have the entirety of the bed space available at a moments notice, and this cover solves that
  4. Lightweight - Not a need, but nice to have so that it doesn't affect the fuel economy too much. It actually increases highway mpgs due to aerodynamics!
  5. Sleek - I mean it just looks great on the truck, and the new XRP Rugged Matte finish adds extra protection from scratches or falling debris
  6. Ease of use - Very easy to lock, open, and close the cover. Keep it simple.
I've had this cover on for about a month at this point and really have no complaints about the cover. There was additional work needed to properly install the cover and to add waterproof seals in order to secure it from water leaks, but overall I am really satisfied!

If yall want to check out the complete review on my YouTube channel, the link is below. If yall have any questions, I hope I can be of assistance!

I've heard nothing but bad things about them. Take up the front of the bed when folded, leak, break, and get stuck.

I have seen some negative reviews, but my experience has been pretty good so far!

1. It does take up space when folded and open, but it actually takes up less space than retrax due to not having a canister to retract into. And you can actually easily remove the entire cover with the quick release clamps (which I forgot to record lol) at a moments notice.

2. The only leaks that happen are towards the tailgate, I've got tailgate seals to fix that. No leaks so far even after heavy rain.

3. Nothing broken so far, and initially it was a bit stiff, but after leaving it locked it operates smoothly.

Maybe they've done some R&D to improve on their product. I will post any updates on here as I go about my days.

Hope that clears some stuff up.

I've had mine on a few months now. I also got the XRP coated one and I love the cover. I got the tailgate seal from Peragon when I bought the cover. The few times I've needed the entire bed it took like 15 seconds to remove the cover completely and it weighs almost nothing. I'm extremely happy with mine.

Just another incredibly super average dude
I splurged for the Paragon cover and absolutely love it. I can't speak to anyone else's negative experience, but it does everything well. It doesn't flap around when folded back. It super easy to remove from the bed and stow in the back seat, then reinstall. The fit and finish are perf. My only complaint was that it was a bit of a PITA to install when you have to line it up to secure.. Other than that, I personally haven't seen anything else even close to it that I like.
