Bed step-sides! Plastic or fiberglass insert that slides into the rear quarter-panel after you cut out the template provided. It could attach to the million braces, bolts, beams under the rear of the truck. Could be paint-able or matt black (chrome? with diamond-plate grip?). And don't say you wouldn't cut into the side of your truck, we all have longed for a snorkel (probably more than a damper!).
