I currently own a Crew Cab F150. During extreme weather my two 100lb German Shepherds ride in the cab. During mild temps they ride in the bed inside their dog crates which is covered by a cap. The crates do fit inside the ranger bed. I’ve been looking at downsizing and purchasing a ranger however I’m concerned that that cab space will be insufficient for transporting my two German Shepherds. Anybody have any insight? PS I have check in hand and can take delivery tomorrow if I choose to do so.

Hi Brian,

We transport two friends in our Supercrew that are both about 300lbs. They remark that the rear seats are comfortable... Don't know if this helps or not..

best,

Dear Friends: The Ranger Super Crew's rear seating area is large enough to comfortably transport two large dogs, two medium-sized humans, or (in our case) two crates of sporting goods and other assorted junk (his and hers)! Sign the check! Regards, Mark

LOL...

He may be used to folding the rear seat down in the F150 to make a flat load floor. With the rear part 'up' can the bottom cushions be folded to make a load floor or would he need to just toss a blanket on the seat?

Bring a blanket and the dogs and let them hop in and see if they fit!
