Front License Plate Cover

Anyone with a front plate try to put a license plate cover on over the factory bracket? Trying to find one that would fit over the factory lower plate slot, but think I may have to just modify a cover to fit flush.

I bought a smoked plate cover, but I wasn't anticipating that there's only mount points for top screws, or how the front plate bracket is designed.
