Ford Side Step sizing

As I understand Our trucks have the same wheel base regardless of the cab configuration. Is it possible to mount supercrew side steps to a supercab? Has anyone done this? I figured the extra lentgh would be nice to grab things that have slid to the back of the bed.

They have the same wheelbase, but the side steps mount to the body not the the frame, so the mounting points are probably different between the SuperCab and SuperCrew.

Find a dealer that has Super Cab and SuperCrew in stock, plus at least one set of running boards, and do some late night measuring.

Definitely NOT. The Step bolt hole positions are significantly different between the two body styles!
