From the link above, I've edited this to remove the parenthetical related to the article so it will read more fluidly.

"multiple product models, an “accidental drive-by”, and a gift, all point to the first vehicle on the UEVP will be an aerodynamic “Ranger” many have guessed will be called the Ranchero (no one on the tour revealed any clues on that theory). However, it will clearly take the unibody approach of the Maverick and will produce a Ranger-size pickup with a more aerodynamic shape."

A Ranger-sized unibody - the "aerodynamic Ranger". Very interesting.

Given the current policies in the US that skunkworks plant might just as well be made a museum exhibiting Ford's failed EV plans, charging an admission fee of say $3 might produce more bottom line profits than the EV biz. I occasionally have some degree of sympathy for Ford and GM , the way they get whipsawed by gov policies, saw that hyundai is avoiding higher tariffs on their vehicles by investing in the US, building a huge $7bil + battery and EV mfg plant in the land of EVs not needed.
