So The Drive is reporting that the 6.8 V8 will be introduced into the F150 and possibly the Mustang...

I am guessing that Ford sees how the LS architecture is more compact and robust? I think GM probably makes more money of crate engines than their car and trucks to be honest lol.
But a 6.8...in a Mustang...they are saying it will be aluminum block and approx 4" more narrow (a big plus in a car).
Plus the cool thing is since its similar design to the 7.3 gasser then there should be plenty of cross-over bolt on parts etc.
To make this at least a little bit Bronco/Ranger related, Hennessy is making a 5.0 Coyote Bronco Velociraptor...750hp...and since it uses roughly the same chassis as the Ranger...a 5.0 'Yote engine...in a Ranger...heh....BUT...a 6.8 would fit easier...
