This is the most first world problem thread I've ever read.
Yes, no doubt... however, I was never very aware of the desirability of folding mirrors (let alone, power and auto-folding mirrors) till I saw the oh so narrow & crowded streets in Europe and Asia. There it seems more of a necessity vs a nice to have. And it really came home after, while I was parked on the street with a bike lane, and found someone had run into the mirror a broke it off! Then on my old Ranger, I started to manually fold out of the way.

Has someone noted this yet?...there's no memory involved, it's a mechanical switch...push on, push off...if you notice, when folded the button is down...push again to unfold, the button pops up...that's why when pushed in when truck's off is arming it to open when you turn the truck back on...you've preset the condition mechanically...
