Took a trip to a drag strip while on vacation this evening. What a blast. Here’s how it went

Run 1: 2WD (shifted to Sport mode after the 60’ mark...oops!)

Runs 2-4: 4WD in Sport mode with traction control/ advanced trac OFF.

Fuel: 93 octane (1/4 tank)
Density Altitude: 2,500’
Car #: 37
Performance Mods: Stock

I was hoping for a 14.xx but couldn’t manage it tonight. Ditching the spare tire and tailgate may have gotten me closer...next time.

I have the Ford Performance Tune, exhaust, and intake. At 3,500+ feet here, I can break well into the 14s. I suspect it is time to bite the bullet.

Did you try brake boosting before launching? That 60' time seems like it could easily improve if you're using 4 wheel drive.
Yep sure did brake boost it. Probably close to what the brakes would hold. Like Apples said, probably time for a tune. Livernois is my first choice paired with some boost pipe upgrades from AFE.
