Congrats on the Raptor.
I have yet to see Marsh Gray IRL, but the pics I've seen look like it's a great color. But those may be deceiving. Pictures of Cactus Gray and Azure Gray don't look anything like the IRL.
As for pricing, one step down would be a Lariat FX4 with 2.7 and Adv tow. And that's only about
$3k less.
There's a lot more in a Raptor that can't be had in a standard Ranger.

As for towing, it's 5510 lbs. Not too shabby and more than I would need.

As always, it depends.

The RR is built as a fun truck.

Other Rangers are more of a work truck.

If you don't need towing or payload, it's better.

If you do need them, it's not.

It all comes down to what's better for your own needs.

I recently looked at a Maverick because with my Bronco now I don't need the Ranger towing capacity.

In a complete out of left field option, I'll probably end up with a Model 3 Performance.

But I'm not in a hurry, unless my rebuilt transmission continues to unimpress which may hasten my decision.
I'm with you on the unimpressed with the rebuilt transmission. Mine is fine but the 10R80 is always going to give me pause as to when it's gonna crater again
