Looking to get a bedslide, can anyone confirm if they have to be bolted or is it non drill? It doesn’t matter, just curious, thanks!

Need to know for sure, the bolts in the F150 makes sense with holding the bracket but the Ranger doesn’t look correct to me.

I stand corrected, I just spoke with Bedslide and you do have to drill into the bed floor for the Ranger.

Thanks for doing that. Also, I was looking to see if there was a install guide and couldn’t locate it just to see how challenging or in my case time consuming it was going to be.

Over the weekend I emailed Bedslide with a similar question for the new '23 SCab I received just 10 days ago after a long 13 month wait.

This morning (Monday) I received the following reply »

Hi Robert,
Part number 10-7041-CLS is correct and you will need one of BSA-HALUMKT (aluminum install kit) to mount the unit. Only 4 mounting points are required but you have enough hardware to attach the unit at 6 points if you wish.
If you do not want to drill holes in the bed you can purchase a BEDSLIDE and no drill kit as a package deal direct from your FORD dealer. We do not offer this direct as it is a factory FORD product.
The FORD part number is VKB3Z-99113C37-B.
Thank you for your interest in BEDSLIDE.

I found these two official Ford installation instructions »
I don't want to hijack this discussion, however, if anyone has experience with the factory Ford no drill kit installation for the Bedslide, I'd love to hear how that setup has held up for you.
