Anybody have the Ford or EGR sports bar ?

Any regrets ? Seem pretty solid ? Those side plates are the main reason I want that one ...

It’s definitely a “looks only” item, which I assume is why it’s not a roll bar. Clamps to the bed sides.
I’m starting to see a little rust around the base plate welds after 3-1/2 years.
Other than that, no issues with it.

Looking at yours from this angle , about how far does it stick up above cab ? I actually would like cab lights but not gonna drop the headliner and drill the roof , my thoughts was if the bar sticks up enough , I can mount some markers on it instead of roof , I'm also gonna try and light the "Ranger" side panels ...

That's a little low for markers I think ?, I'd have to add something on top to get them higher, thanks for pic , are the brackets for the side plates there or holes to mount them ?

Sweet , thanks for the info ? ... oh , was gonna ask how big a pain to tap in the 3rd brake light , I skimmed over the instructions and it sounded like lots of trim coming out ...

I negotiated mine, installed, as part of the initial purchase. No eye deer how difficult it may be
