One gripe about the current Ranger I have is the center console and arm rest. The arm rest is very uncomfortable, no padding and way too short as those were my first impressions when I got my Ranger. I never really had any negative thoughts about the rest of the center area; cup holders, shifter, terrain mode switch etc. all seem okay. However I just rented a new Ridgeline while we were on vacation, and wow the center console and arm rests are much better, I sure hope Ford addresses this in the 2023. I like how Honda incorporates adjustable arm rests right on the seat back and the openness of the cup holders and storage areas. It's kind of small potatoes in the big scheme of things but those small details for comfort go along way.
