2019 Truck - 2020 or 2021 New Take Off - TPMS Won't Read

I bought a new take off set of Tremor wheels, the truck they came off of is a 20 or 21. My truck is a 19. I tried an Amazon reset tool and two tire stores trying to get the new wheels to sync up with no luck The part number for 19, 20 and 21 sensors are the same. Any idea what's going on? I can swap sensors from my old wheels but just hate to go to the trouble if there's an easier way.

Did you try the procedure in the owner's manual to reset the sensors?

@RangerBill I didn't see a reset procedure in the owner's manual. I followed the reset procedure with the Amazon tool directions that put the vehicle in "learn" mode. Didn't work, tried multiple times.

That’s odd. I put 2021 Tremor take off wheels on my 2019 and they work flawlessly. I didn’t have to do anything to them.

@Ronbo I thought it quite odd. No clue what's going. Thought I'd try the forum before I load up the old tires/wheels and head back to the tire store. I hat to think the seller might be less than honest. He swears they were pulled off, not touched and new tires/wheels/tpms installed.

It is in the Wheels and Tires section of the owner's manual. No tool is needed.
