I usually use S in the winter when I go on short trips to the store, I think the higher rpm cuts down on the gas in the oil. The rest of the time I drive in D the truck has plenty of power there also.
NO! I will keep my Ranger until it starts costing me money, then trade it in. Will not buy Ford again, where I live, because I have used three dealers here and they all SUCK. My last ford before the Ranger was a 2002 Mustang GT which I loved, and had for 20 years.
