I usually use S in the winter when I go on short trips to the store, I think the higher rpm cuts down on the gas in the oil. The rest of the time I drive in D the truck has plenty of power there also.

NO! I will keep my Ranger until it starts costing me money, then trade it in. Will not buy Ford again, where I live, because I have used three dealers here and they all SUCK. My last ford before the Ranger was a 2002 Mustang GT which I loved, and had for 20 years.

After going through ASS hell with the dealer, they finally put a new battery in and it worked, My truck is 2020 and is still under warranty. Good Luck

There's a good chance it's a battery going bad. even if you check it and it looks good ,means nothing.you want it to read over 12 on the volt meter.

Had the same messages on ford pass as the OP, checked the batt with amp meter read 11.6, took it to the dealer for a weeks worth of wasting my time . when I first took to the dealer I told him the guys on the forum said usually it's the battery. long story,short, it was the battery. ford...
