The giant, inexplainable opening under the grille/bumper was bugging me, so I did the Putco bumper grille insert. I REALLY hate dealing with those little panel and trim clips but overall it wasn't difficult. In case anyone is interested I've attached a picture of what's behind that valance so...
Other than point back to the website I can't help you right now, sorry. I've had the racks off for a bit since I've been doing some longer drives without needing them - I wanted to keep MPG impact down. And the website doesn't make it super obvious - they say, "Height above the box rail: 24...
Busy weekend here...added towing capability to my non-towing package Ranger by:
Installing the DrawTite hitch, wiring bundle, and 7/4 pin connector. This took WAY too many tools and WAY too much time - highlighting my amateur status - but most of that frustration was spent on trying to get...
This Ranger is my first turbocharged vehicle, so today's projects were bolt-on intake fun - both the aFe Magnum Force Cold Air Intake Scoop and the VelossaTech Big Mouth Ram Air Intake Snorkel. Neither was a difficult installation at all, but time will tell if I notice any benefit!
Did *part* of two projects...I hate those kind of days.
1) I did the wiring harness to add the 7/4 pin connector for towing (but did not do the hitch or plug - need to break out some different tools for that job), and
2) did part of the ESI tailgate seal kit (but ran out of time before...
Hey All -
I've successfully multiple settings in BdyCM and IPC using the table at the top of this thread - but I cannot find this one in IPC (using FORScan v2.3.38 beta):
Disable Startup Chimes (3x doo-doo-doo)
IPC

RCMUSTANG
Does it have a different name or...
Alright, here's some more info.
Picture 1 is where the cover meets the front of the bed - and it does seem pretty well sealed up.
Picture 2 is from inside the bed looking forward and up. After poking around for a bit I could find a path big enough for a finger to snake through (red circle)...
I just did the same tri-fold installation on my 5 foot bed, and I agree that the clamps were real difficult. I have a bit of concern about water at tailgate but I need to address the existing giant gaps at the tailgate first...it's too cold here in MN to leak check right now!
I haven't leak checked it yet - it's too cold outside here in MN for liquid water! I'll take some pictures of the front of the bed later but I felt pretty good about it during installation. I don't know if perfectly dry is realistic for this setup (first time truck owner...). I am willing to...
Yes I am new here, but I thought I could share something I didn't find while delving through this forum. I was looking for a seemingly unique combination of flexibility and security for the bed of my Ranger...and I didn't want to break the bank. While this setup wasn't *cheap* it does seem to...
Hey all!
I am in the suburbs of Minneapolis and have a new (to me) 2020 Lariat in Silver - please ignore the mocking, tiny bow in the picture :D . The modifications and accessories are beginning, but so far it's only WeatherTech floor liners, console storage shelf, DeeZee bed mat, Lomax hard...
