OK, I was able to get a software update, now just need to install on Ranger.
I read some other threads about a towing tune, but can't seem to find it anywhere.
Thanks for your help!!!
Thanks, I would definitely be interested in a tune for towing. I pull around a pretty heavy camper. When I plugged my Procal unit into my computer, I did not see an option for an update like you showed in your response.
I have the Procal4 performance tuning software on my 2020 Ranger and I recently had the dealership do a standard tuneup. Do I need to reinstall the performance tune? Also, how do I check to see if there is an update on the software. TIA.
I know this has probably been discussed many times...so feel free to send me a link to other discussions if you know about them. My Ranger gets used for many trips between Arkansas and Colorado so ride quality is most important. The stock Hankook Dynapro ATM are quiet and smooth and perform...
So far the mods that I have made specifically for towing has really helped. They are as follows: Ford Performance Tuner, Hellwig anti-sway bar, Eibach rear shocks (one side only - waiting on a second one), brake controller, Reese Steadi-flex weight distribution hitch and I also inflate my rear...
I have had trouble getting shocks for the rear of my Ranger, I received one, and the second one has been back-ordered for almost 2 months. Has anyone bought one recently and received in a timely manner? If so, who did you buy it from? Thanks
OK, thanks, I'll definitely watch the installation video. My mods for towing - so far: 1) brake controller, 2) ordered Eibach shocks, 3) ordered Ford Performance tuner, 4) ordered Hellwig anit-sway bar. Will report back once installed and after a camping trip.
That looks like the same setup as what I pull with my 2020 Ranger. Grand Designs Imagine 17 MKE. Just got it a couple months ago and only had one trip before it got too cold. It had a lot more sway than I would like and I was looking at installing the Hellwig Sway Bar - it sounds like it...
Thanks for the reply, yes your camper is very similar to my 17MKE. My Ranger pulls mine great but as you said, windy conditions make for some two-handed driving. I would love to hear how your proposed mods help with the "swaying". I have considered adding an anti-sway bar but need to...
OK, thanks, but I only need the tune and the device to put it on my Ranger. I already have installed a Roush cold air intake so I don't want to buy the entire Ford Perf. package which apparently includes a filter from K&N. Is this possible?
